Diane Phillips

Founding Director

Diane holds a Bachelor of Education (music/social studies) from the University of Saskatchewan. She taught elementary school in the Saskatoon Public School Division and had her own voice/piano studio for many years. She is an alumnus of Saskatoon’s Fireside Singers and Solstice, and performed internationally in Up With People.

For several years she directed the junior, then senior choirs at Grosvenor Park United Church, as well as the church’s numerous Christmas pageants.

Diane has had a number of paid and volunteer experiences working with children and young adults who have special needs. Along with her husband Rob Phillips, she is the parent of four strapping lads, two of whom are former members of Kids of Note.
