Mary moved back to Saskatoon in 2001 after many years in Edmonton and Toronto, where she spent ten of those years employed by the federal government as a Learning Consultant with Human Resources Development Canada. Following her return to Saskatoon she started a consulting practice, The Groundwork Strategy, focused on personal development, coaching, team building and meeting facilitation. She eventually closed that practice in 2012 and now concentrates on enjoying her grandchildren: Sarah 15, Adam 13, and Hugo 1. She also enjoys travel, gardening, movies and reading.
Mary began volunteering as the manager for Kids of Note in the fall of 2009, after Sarah’s first year singing with the choir. Adam was also a member for one year. Mary continues to enjoy every minute of the many hours she dedicates to this wonderful organization.
